Hamilton has grown her game tremendously over the past year, especially on the attacking side. She has always been a strong presence at the net as a blocker, but her offense has really started to come around. Hamilton has gained more control in her swing while adding plenty of power, making her a much more dangerous attacking option. She does a good job varying her shots between line and cross court and has also developed the ability to mix in off-speed shots to keep defenders guessing.

Hamilton’s growth over the past year has been tremendous. Along with becoming more efficient with her timing at the net, both as a blocker and attacker, she has also grown into a leader for her club team and I anticipate will take on a bigger leadership role at La Crescent this fall. With the Lancers poised to improve on their record from last year, Hamilton will be key to their success and one of the players they will for sure lean on throughout the season.

Another Minnesota athlete crossing the Mississippi to get to club practice! Taylor Hamilton Taylor Hamilton WI preps at La Crescent-Hokah on the Minnesota side of La Crosse.  She is another sneaky good talent where she has to be around 6’0 tall and a big left handed swing.  There is a huge upside to her game.  She sets a big block and is a threat to score anytime the ball comes her way. 

Lefty attacker Hamilton was a major contributor on both offense and defense for her Elevate team as they went 3-0 in pool play on day 1. Hamilton read the block in front of her well and adjusted to generate several kills from the right pin. Her defense was also on fire as Hamilton put up a huge block, stopping many outside attackers in their tracks.
