The senior libero was easily Cypress Springs most efficient player on the court, doing a very good job on the backcourt for the Panthers. Hampton covered a lot of ground in serve-receive and was very productive, displaying impressive quickness and excellent ball control to deliver accurate passes. She also made some impressive digs in hard-driven swings on the backcourt and did a good job when she had to set in transition.

A versatile player, Hampton typically plays outside hitter during the high school season and moves to libero during club. She’s at her best in the backcourt, where she can use her excellent ball control to make plays and generate transition opportunities for her teams. Hampton is well-versed enough to defend both the middle and the left positions at the back and is also very effective when she peels at the pin and covers sharp angle. Her passing is also very consistent and reliable.

Hampton started the event on fire, jumping straight on the court to demo the first defensive drill and never looked back. She kept her incredible energy all the way to the end and stood out among the other liberos/defensive specialists. Hampton is a player that gives everything she has on every play and is always more than willing to give the extra step to make a better play. She also does a very good in tracking plays and gets to recover several balls.
