About Taylor

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am quick to the ball and can get to an out of system pass. I use all my hitters and like to feed my hot hitters often. I have strong court awareness and can find the open shots for my hitters, and even for myself.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a very positive mindset, even when things are not going my team’s way. I love to cheer on my teammates and lift each other up when down. I love to play competitively but still have fun with my teammates.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Throughout my years playing volleyball, I have gained great teamwork skills. I love playing with others and it is super rewarding for me to work with others, not only in volleyball, but in life in general.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for somewhere with a positive volleyball program and a strong nursing program.

Taylor was on the right side when I saw her playing, and she was such a spark on the court. Her consistent play, motivating communication, and ability to terminate were a great combination. Taylor’s discipline in transition made her consistently available to earn points, and she switched up her shots well. She was impressive throughout the tournament and a go-to player for Slam.

Taylor had a great command of the court as a setter. She kept the ball moving and mixed up her shots well. Taylor was consistent when she was on the move and ran down some really tough balls. Every time she was on the court, she ran it with pinpoint efficiency. She held herself accountable and was disciplined.

Taylor exploded onto my radar at the Madness in Miltown tournament. She has a soft touch on the ball and great placement, no matter if she receives a perfect pass or is on the move. Taylor is a well-rounded player who was a leader and energizer on the court for Eclipse.
