Simmons had a big fall season averaging 3.6 k/s for Mayfield. She returned for her sophomore season much more confident and assertive in her arm and ability to score as their top offensive threat. At 5’8, she is an athletic and explosive jumper with a nice arm in the air that can generate some natural pace with her movement and control. She has good footwork in the transition phase that helps her use her athleticism effectively. She improved her defensive impact as well this past fall with nearly seven digs per match.
