Willeford is deceptive in the fact that she can mix in hard and soft hits well to all six zones on the court. Defensive specialists play back when facing the 16 REN team and Willeford tries to take advantage of it placing tips near the 10-foot line in the middle. She can effectively take advantage of one-on-one opportunities when teammates run solid fakes. Willeford continues to find different ways to better balls as the season progresses.

Willeford executes her hits at a high level using her size to her advantage. Willeford mixes in hard and soft hits. Teams have to respect her rips so much it gives her the opportunity to tip balls to the middle of the court. Willeford makes opponents defend every square inch of the court with her hitting options. Willeford also mixes in tips over blockers, capitalizing when teammates draw blockers away from her with sound fakes. Willeford will be a force for the Lions these next two years.
