About Tiffany

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am very calm on the court but also strategic. I like to be calm so I don’t stress myself out and if also helps me play loosely which causes me to be more consistent. Whenever I am on the bench I watch the other team and see where they are if I were to be hittimg and see the open spots. Then I go for those spots on the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very emgergetic person so I always try to have a smile on my face and brighten the mood. I try to keep a good mentality on the court visualizing myself getting a good kill, I always try to keep a good mindset whether were loosing or not, if I have fun and enjoy playing then that is all that matters which will lead me to play good.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in the BSU (Black Student Union) at my school. I have also received various academic rewards like honor roll and the GRIT Award.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed teamwork not only volleyball wise but in the BSU I have worked with the club and everyone in it to form a pep rally during Black History Month so people can have a understanding of true black culture but to also have them up and moving.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A challenge I have faced is injuries. In 4th grade I completely butchered my knee which led me to not play for a year, but my knee didn’t properly heal so as years went on even now there is times where my knee gives out and I have give it a break for around 2 weeks. This has led me to fall behind on my true potential.

What type of college are you looking for?

The type of college I am looking for is one the has a good Psychology program and an active community like big student sections at games. I also want one that is along the east coast or near it so I can be close by my family so I am able to visit them and also they can come watch my games!
