About Trynity

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a smart, aggressive setter who plays with confidence and control. I stay composed under pressure, run a fast-paced offense, and create scoring opportunities for all my hitters. I lead with energy, communicate constantly, and bring a team-first mindset every time I step on the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a growth mindset and a competitive spirit. I’m positive, coachable, and always looking for ways to improve. I lead with humility, encourage my teammates, and stay locked in no matter the situation. I believe in hard work, consistency, and putting the team first.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership by being captain of my club team for three seasons and helping lead my varsity team to the regional playoffs. Being a setter has also grown my communication and teamwork skills. I give back by coaching at Madfrog summer clinics, where I mentor younger players and help grow the game I love.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of my biggest challenges has been being overlooked as a new setter even when I perform well and as a player who is able to do a little bit of everything. But I use it as motivation to keep working, stay coachable, and trust God’s timing. It’s made me stronger, more focused, and hungry to keep growing.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a competitive Division I program with a strong volleyball culture, high academic standards. I want a school that feels like family, values leadership and work ethic, and where I can continue to develop as a setter, teammate, and student. I’m also looking for a program that aligns with my faith, supports its athletes,
