We were impressed by Vanessa Gridley Vanessa Gridley 6'1" | S/RS Notre Dame Preparatory | 2028 State AZ ‘s ability to make a major impact on both sides of the ball. She consistently slowed down powerful swings with disciplined blocking, and showed great court awareness by taking out the setter when it mattered most. Despite being one of the youngest on the court, she went head-to-head with some of the tournament’s top hitters — and won those battles. Her ability to press over the net and play smart off-blocker defense makes her a dominant and difficult-to-stop presence on the right side. She plays big, confident volleyball and brings a level of intensity well beyond her years.
