She brings a high level of energy and impact to the middle position, consistently finding ways to influence matches on both sides of the ball.

One of the biggest strengths in Ava’s game is her ability to close blocks quickly while defending the pins. She moves laterally with purpose, reads attackers well, and does an excellent job sealing seams against opposing hitters. In one-on-one hitter versus blocker situations, she’s especially impressive, using strong timing, discipline, and physicality to take away offensive options and force tough swings.

What also stands out is how involved she stays in every rally. Ava tracks the ball exceptionally well, remains available in transition, and has earned the trust of her setters to make a play from anywhere on the court. Whether the pass is perfect or out of system, she works hard to stay connected to the offense and consistently gives her team a reliable option. Her motor, awareness, and competitive presence make her a difficult middle to play against, and her future in the sport is incredibly bright.
