Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
When under stressful situations during gameplay, I try to stay as calm as possible. I try to stay calm because I don’t want to affect my teammates game play because of my influential personality. I play the best under stressed or under pressure situations.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
My mentality during game is very calm and controlled. I try to stay energetic so that my teammates can keep their energy up and not get down when we play. I’m a very bubbly and talkative person. My teammates rub off on me very quickly so I try to be a good example for those around me. I am a very influential person when you get to know me. I love to help those around me if they want help.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I’m involved in photography, fun, and I play a flag football as a quarterback. I’ve only received sports awards.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Because of my personality, I have developed amazing control over my emotions. I love teamwork and I love to play with other people. I’m not a one person sport type of girl. My leadership has become impeccable because of how much people rely on me in and out of volleyball. I love to do community service at least a couple times a year. I love to help others and I’ll never stop helping those in need.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I had a coach who was mentally, emotionally, and physically abusive. It was one of the biggest challenges I've faced because, for a long time, I didn't even realize how deeply it was affecting me. She made it hard for me to walk away - but eventually, I found the strength to quit and join a new club. Within just three months, I grew more than I ever imagined. I became the best version of myself.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a college where I can grow both as a player and a person somewhere with a competitive volleyball program, strong academics, and a team culture that values hard work, support, and connection. I want to be part of a program that pushes me to be my best on and off the court.
