Willow has shown increased offensive involvement during Oconee County’s postseason run. She produced nine kills and six digs in the quarterfinal against White County, giving the Warriors another option when the match required production beyond their primary attackers. Her contribution also reflects the value of staying involved defensively rather than evaluating the right side only by its attacking output.

The position asks Willow to be disciplined on both sides of the net. She must be prepared to challenge the opponent’s outside hitter at the block, but she also needs to make herself available when the setter looks away from the left pin. Her blocking production shows that she contributes to the defensive structure, while her quarterfinal performance demonstrated her ability to provide offense. That combination makes her a useful two-way option as Oconee County heads into the Class 4A championship match. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga
