Junior Fendley Kimbro Fendley Kimbro 5'6" | S/OH Oconee County | 2028 GA currently sits atop Georgia’s statewide assist totals on the latest MaxPreps page, and Oconee County’s detailed stats had her at 663 assists, 266 digs and 77 aces before the most recent matches were entered. Against East Jackson she finished with 29 assists and 14 digs. MaxPreps.com

Fendley’s season is one of the more complete setting profiles in the class. The dig volume tells us she’s involved before the second contact, and her serving gives her a way to establish momentum herself.

What I like most is the workload. A setter with this much ball-handling responsibility has to learn how to stay mechanically consistent when tired. Hands get less clean when legs get heavy, and footwork is usually the first thing to disappear. Fendley is getting enough repetitions that maintaining balance and location under fatigue is becoming part of the evaluation, not just what she does in the first set. ~ S.Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga

Fendley already sits among Georgia’s early assist leaders while also leading Oconee County in digs per set and serving aces. MaxPreps lists her at 226 assists, 3.6 digs per set and 31 aces, but the more important detail may be the letters beside her name: S/OH. She is also serving as a team captain this season.

That profile creates the kind of film coaches can learn from. Fendley is not simply delivering the second contact and disappearing from the rally. She has to defend, serve aggressively, communicate and understand the game from both a setter’s and attacker’s perspective. She also competes in track and field, adding another athletic background to her development. Her strongest clips may not always be the prettiest sets; they may be the plays where she chases down a bad pass, keeps her body neutral and still gives a hitter something usable. Those are the moments that show problem-solving, competitiveness and the willingness to take responsibility when the system breaks down.~ S.Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga

Fendley is simply a volleyball-minded athlete. Whether setting or swinging, she stays composed, sees the court with clarity, and responds rather than reacts. She thrives in flow, adjusting to tempo, reading situations, and making smart choices instead of flashy ones. The kind of athlete who makes her team better without forcing it. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast
