We have a sophomore revolution happening at Omaha Roncalli. Floersch climbed the rankings ladder after she led the Crimson Pride with 2.4 kills per set on a 0.223 attacking efficiency. We marveled at Floersch’s versatility with Premier Nebraska, as she played multiple frontcourt positions throughout her tenure with 15 Red.

Floersch has primarily locked down the middle blocker spot for Premier 15 Red this year. Her length and high contact point make her a scoring threat on any tempo she receives at the net. Perhaps that’s why she moved to left-side hitter at the GPR Bid Tournament when 15 Red suddenly needed help at that position. Floersch managed to keep the offense flowing while taking some aggressive swings on the outside. She tooled opposing hands well and showed the kind of finesse you wouldn’t normally expect from a middle blocker. This unique experience gives 15 Red another option to explore in the month leading up to GJNC.

We’re staying with the Premier Nebraska camp to introduce one of 15 Red’s middle blockers. Floersch was a vital leader as 15 Red navigated a tough NLQ schedule in January. That early test was a great development opportunity for Floersch, who has kept improving throughout the 2024 season. 15 Red will not hesitate to set Floersch on in-system opportunities and let her high contact point take over. Expect this middle blocker to keep reaching new heights in the coming weeks.
