2nd Team All-Tournament, but not for her lack of play or intensity. Covering the floor defensively, making touches for her team. The recent VCU commitment is slowing down, being a vital point of attack for her team offensively. She made the 2nd Team All-Tournament, and let me tell you, it wasn’t for a lack of intensity! She was all over the court on defense, making crucial plays and really stepping up for her team. It’s awesome to see her commitment to VCU, and she’s really starting to shine as a key player on offense, too. She knows how to slow things down and create opportunities, making her a vital part of the team’s strategy. Keep an eye on her as the season progresses, as someone to watch for a big impact.

Sometimes all it takes is one play for me to write down a name on the notes app and right “Whoa”.  That was Zion Palmer Zion Palmer 6'0" | MB Kenwood | 2027 State IL at nationals for 1st Alliance 16 Black. She was having an impressive match and there was one play where the setter was running a shoot and it went just above the hand of Palmer.  They didn’t get a kill on the play, but I was impressed with the setter putting the ball up high for her to get and the athletic approach and jump of Palmer was electric.  All it took was a glimpse to see what she is capable of what her potential is.  This Class of 2027 middles for 1st Alliance is incredibly deep.
