How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

During games I often find myself hustling, and going for any ball that I can. I have a mindset that I can get to every ball no matter what and you can see it when I play. I also try my best to effectively communicate but I do forget sometimes so I am working on it.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality when it comes to volleyball is very half and half. Most of the time I am having fun, lifting my teammates up, and being very competitive. But sometimes I do get quiet and I try to reevaluate all my mistakes during the game. This is something I am working on as a player and a teammate.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in involved in the clubs FBLA, pep club, and FCA.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

The qualities I have developed is definitely teamwork and enjoyment for volleyball. Volleyball is a team sport and without each other we wouldn’t be able to get far. Not only have I developed working and communicating as a team but I was learned to generally enjoy volleyball. I used to dread volleyball and making mistakes but I have learned that volleyball is a game of mistakes.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

During my volleyball career I have faced many challenges the most common ones I faced was not being confident in my abilities and doubting myself as a player and a teammate. Mental blocks are tough to overcome but I started to learn how to accept my mistakes and learn from them.
