How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a smart and hardworking defensive player. I always give 100% on and off the court. Communication is a key part of my game. I always do my best to be a positive teammate.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Hi my name is Zoey! I am a 8th grader, originally from Honolulu, Hawai’i. My volleyball career began at age 6. What I love most about playing volleyball is being a part of a team. I work hard to be my best self in the gym and in the classroom. My goal is to be a positive contribution to my team, and to continue to grow through the game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

National Junior Honor Society

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I volunteer often in my club. I love to help other teams at their practices. The best way to master something is to be able to teach it!

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A challenge I have often faced is being the youngest on my teams. It is hard at times to get along with teammates much older than you. What I have learned though is respect is earned… I work hard every year to be a good team mate on and off the court.
