About Zoie
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I am a quick, focused setter. I bring nonstop energy and smart decision-making to each match. I see the game, I make quick reads, and set up the hitters for success. My volleyball IQ is advanced; I understand rotations, timing, and how to adjust on the fly.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I’m a natural leader on the court. I stay locked in, ready to compete, and I bring positive energy even when the pressure is high. I keep pushing for the point until the final whistle. I’m all in until the game is over.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
As I begin my freshman year, I hope to stay involved in Student Council, Yearbook, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and National Honor Society.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I volunteer with my mom on her nonprofit board and with my classmates for National Honor Society. As a member of Austin Skyline, I participated in the Leadership Council, where we did community outreach with the unhoused population in Austin. I enjoy doing this work as an extension of my love for my community and the opportunity to serve it.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I didn’t talk about it much—I just tried to stay focused and keep going. Now my mom is doing better, and I’ve grown a lot as a player. I’m more confident, I understand the game better, and I’ve
What type of college are you looking for?
I plan to major in psychology and pursue a career as either a sports psychologist or forensic psychologist. I’m looking for a college that offers a strong psychology program and supports student-athletes in both academics and athletics.
