Eight Teams Still Alive for Grand Prix High School Challenge Title
OMAHA - From a field of 50 teams, eight have reached Saturday's championship round in the varsity division of the Grand Prix High School Challenge hosted by Creighton and UNO at CenturyLink Center.
All 50 teams - which were divided into four pools - played eight matches Thursday and today with the top two teams from each pool advancing to Saturday's championship round. In the championship round, the eight teams are divided into two pools of four and will play three pool-play matches. The winner of each pool will then square off for the team championship at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday.
Here are the eight teams still in contention for the team championship, listed by the pool they will compete in on Saturday.
