As difficult as it is for freshmen to make an impact at the varsity level in high school, the club season allows those athletes a place to showcase their talents against each other.
For Premier 15 Gold, however, some of their players have already made a huge name for themselves in the high school ranks.
Nebraska recruit and Skutt Catholic all-stater Lindsay Krause combines with Papillion-LaVista all-state selection Norah Sis and Skutt Catholic teammate Cameron Cartwright to give Premier 15 Gold three outstanding weapons at the net.
Lincoln Northeast libero Holly Ochsner and Skutt Catholic’s Olivia Rouw anchor the backrow and Phyona Schrader is among the best freshman setters in the Midwest and the 6’0 product of Ankeny High School in Iowa, where she was an honorable mention all-state selction, is set to run the offense for Premier 15 Gold.
The team also has Mary Claire Daubendiek of Omaha Marian, Devyn Carmichael of Millard West, Sophia Steffes of Omaha Marian and Bridget Smith.
Members of the Premier 15 Black team are Ella Bellinghausen, Andjelija Petrovic, Bre Skala, Addie Thomas, Grace Werner, Jayden Kistaitis, Emma Prentice, Paige Stobbe, Cendle Vacanti and Abigail Wolfe.
Members of the Premier 15 Red team are Mollie Fee, Jozie Krause, Kenley Montagne, Abby Spidle, Syd Wells, Morgan Hickey, Maggie Massey, Sidney Sledge, Jill Weber and Samantha Ziebarth.
Members of the Premier 15 Silver team are Natalie Bratetic, Delanie Ferzely, Nicole Helmberger, Claire Koch, Rachel Russell, Drew Dunham, Emma Hall, Allie Hinman, Katlyn Nelson and Alexis Westover.
