After day one, Premier 18 Gold is achieving that goal.
Premier 18 Gold cruised through the first day of competition at the CenturyLink Center to go 3-0 in pool play and advance to the final 10.
Premier started its day with a 25-21 25-16 sweep of Invasion VBC 18 Black and then followed that up with 25-5, 25-7 romp over Momentum Volleyball 18 Patty’Steph.
In its final match of the day, 18 Gold downed V-Hawk Xtreme 18 National 25-18, 25-17.
Statistically, Premier 18 Gold was the most dominant team in the division by a wide margin on Friday. As a result, the team will carry over to tomorrow as the top seed.
In order to qualify for Sunday’s championship bracket, Premier 18 Gold needs to finish in the top three of its four-team pool tomorrow. Other teams in the pool are Rocky Select 18 Jackie, Topeka Impact 181 and IPVA 18’s Black.
Club Legacy 181 ROX dropped a 25-20, 25-16 decision to Topeka Impact 181 in a challenge match and moves into the consolation round.
