SubscribeAs the #2 overall prospect on our Class of 2020 rankings, there isn’t much Millard North sophomore McKenna Ruch of Premier 16 Gold can’t do on the volleyball court.
That has drawn a lot of recruiting interest Ruch’s way for a while now. She has the ability to play anywhere along the net and she has been one of the driving forces between Millard North’s string of two straight appearances in the Class A title match. She’s also been getting a lot of recognition for the Premier 16 Gold team that has had quite a bit of success at major tournaments in Salt Lake City and Denver so far this year.
Despite being just a sophomore, Ruch already has 623 kills in her high school career – including 340 this past fall – while hitting at a .296 clip with 84 solo blocks.
Ruch has made visits to Illinois, Iowa, Wyoming and Omaha.
As far as a time frame for her recruiting decision, Ruch says, “I am hoping to make a commitment here soon!”
