Continue ReadingEaster is a bit later this year and families everywhere will be searching for eggs, going to church, and enjoying large family meals. Meanwhile, many in the volleyball community will be in the gym playing at the Mizuno NL Qualifeir in Minneapolis that same weekend. In an gracious attempt to accommodate the needs of families hoping to celebrate Easter, Northern Lights along with Grace Church will be offering on-site services Easter Sunday.
With three locations, Grace Church, has a clear passion for outreach in the area. They currently have a Chaska location, Eden Prairie and even a Grace Latino. On April 21st, while most of the teams are starting their Sunday matches, they will be offering short, on site services for those interested in attending. And don’t worry, they are going to be short, sweet, and inspiring lasting approx. 20 minutes; leaving plenty of time to catch your favorite teams.
The Minneapolis convention center is a great facility, but often overwhelming in it’s magnitude. Don’t worry, the pop-up church will be set up across from the main entrance, in the Lecture Auditorium 1. I anticipate colorful signs and smiling staff welcoming potential guests to their worship service.
Perhaps you are interested in the idea but aren’t sure it is the right fit for you. Northern Lights has included several places of worship and their locations on their tournament site. Find the host that best fits you below.

There is likely to be great competition along with a chance for families, players and coaches to gather and worship. Grace church’s catch-phrase is: “Bringing Faith to Life,” and for the Qualifier to: Bringing Faith to Life and Volleyball!
