– New Prague | 2021 | MB | Prep Dig #40
At 13-5 overall, New Prague continues to hover around the top-10 in the class AAA poll. With some great offensive options that carry the bulk of the attacking work in the Trojans’ offense with the likes of

, Devine is a team leader on defense. The 6’2 junior, currently uncommitted, leads the New Prague net play in total blocks. She has good preparation and patience through her eye work when blocking with the ability to get up quick on a middle attack or close to the pins effectively. With her elbows near the top of the tape she can fill up some good space. Her footwork and mobility in her transition game get her off the net quickly and available to swing. Although not a primary option considering the Trojans’ pin-hitter effectiveness, she can score through their quick tempo distribution and is a good option if New Prague chooses to balance out their offense.
Ali Hinze – Osseo | 2020 | OH | Prep Dig #8
Although not entirely new to the Osseo program, Hinze had to play at the junior varsity level last season upon transferring and before being able to suit up for the varsity team. Alongside teammate

, she is part of a great 1-2 punch for the Orioles on the pins as she leads Osseo in total kills for the season. The North Dakota State commit has a rocket of an arm and can drive the ball with great pace and through multiple locations. Among the team leader in total digs, the six-rotation outside hitter provides good stability for Osseo’s ball control next to the terrific play of senior and future college teammate in libero

– Medford | 2020 | OH
A Southwest Minnesota State commit, Johnson strengthens the Medford roster on the pins as she provides high level experience given her training and national-level competitions with her club team at Northern Lights. At 5’11 and with good springs, Johnson adds to the depth of the Medford offensive effort, which includes the return of 2018 all-state tournament selections in senior outside Emma Kniefel and junior middle

. Johnson herself was a Big 9 all-conference honorable mention selection a year ago. The #9 ranked Tigers were the class A state runner-up in 2018 after an incredible run through the post season. Johnson is contributing well to the Tigers’ chemistry and a new approach this season, which involves a target on Medford’s back given their emergence as a force in class A. With her experience and steady contributions, Medford could make a return to the final weekend later this season

. At 6’6, Kemp creates matchup problems for most teams given her length and reach. She can swing over and around most blocks and puts up a big wall herself to help the defensive cause. With increased foot and arm speed development as she progresses through her current and future high school and club seasons, Kemp has great potential to emerge as one of the nation’s top recruiting prospects. With 2018 earning the Wildcats their third state title among six straight appearances in the championship match, Kemp and her team are poised to do it once again.
