McCracken County holds postseason banquet

<p>The McCracken County volleyball team honored numerous players during its annual postseason banquet. </p> <p>Head coach Tim Whitis guides the McCracken County volleyball program, which held its 2019 postseason banquet on November 21.</p> <p>The seniors for the the latest McCracken County volleyball team were Aubrey Thomas, Megan Hasty, Gracie Murt, Aubree Tilley, Madison Jarvis and Ansley Golightly. </p> <p>McCracken County won its seventh 1st Region championship during the 2019 season, finishing the campaign 32-9. The Mustangs' latest season featured 1st Region and 2nd District titles. </p> <p>Whitis (1st Region Coach of the Year) and Thomas (1st Region Player of the Year) earned top honors from the Kentucky Volleyball Coaches Association (KVCA) earlier in the month. </p> <p>McCracken County will look to remain on top of the 1st Region in 2020. </p> <p>Award-winners from the 2019 McCracken County volleyball banquet follow. </p> <p><strong>Freshman Team Most Improved:</strong> Mabry Perdue.</p> <p><strong>Junior Varsity Team Most Improved:</strong> Allison Sasseen.</p> <p><strong>Most Aces:</strong> Megan Hasty.</p> <p><strong>Best Serving Percentage:</strong> Drew Mullinax.</p> <p><strong>Most Kills:</strong> Makenzie Mason.</p> <p><strong>Highest Kill Percentage:</strong> Jayda Harris.</p> <p><strong>Most Blocks:</strong> Jayda Harris.</p> <p><strong>Most Block Assists:</strong> Jayda Harris.</p> <p><strong>Most Assists:</strong> Aubrey Thomas.</p> <p><strong>Most Digs:</strong> Madison Jarvis.</p> <p><strong>All-State First Team:</strong> Aubrey Thomas.</p> <p><strong>Region 1 Player of the Year:</strong> Aubrey Thomas. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
