17-1 Gold
Elena Mathern – 5’11 | MB | 2021 | High School: Edina
Her elevation is a big asset that she can build her volleyball skill set around. As her overall skills have a raw quality, she has a good foundation and potential to be an effective middle blocker. She has shown ability to score off one or two feet in front of the setter with good blocking extension at the net. With increased quickness and improved arm work attacking she will make herself more available in transition and more effective in her attacking opportunities.
Brier Ziemer – 5’6 | L | 2021 | High School: Chaska
An all-conference selection, Ziemer provided great floor leadership for Chaska throughout the high school season. Her best attributes include her vision throughout the point as well as her footwork to prepare for the ball coming off the hitter’s hand. She understands platform angles well and often plays the ball into a manageable location for her setter. She gets herself stopped and balanced, which improves her reaction time to pursue the ball in any direction. Ziemer will be a key factor for

‘s 17-1 squad.
16-1 Gold
Cameron Berger – 5’10 | S | 2023 | High School: Eden Prairie
Berger has made great progress leading into this club season. She can distribute all locations on the floor well with good force and extension against the flow. She is more dynamic in her pursuit of the ball and has high hand position upon contact that can be difficult to read as a defender. She has good size and a 23″ vertical that should be effective with her net play on the defensive side. Just a freshman, Berger has potential to be a solid prospect in the 2023 class over the next few years.
Avery Vogt – 6’0 | RS | 2021 | High School: Edina
Vogt has show ability to swing from both pins and in the space between in tandem or crossing patterns. As she gets stronger and gains more experience her contributions will continue to increase and become even more reliable. Additionally, with more dynamic preparation at the beginning of her approach work she has potential to increase her slow-to-fast movement to be more explosive and attack with more pace. With a good foundation, she will be fun to watch progress over the next few months.

One of the best attacking talents in Minnesota’s 2022 class, Wachholz puts a ton of pressure on opponents. She can bring heat from both pins and with her size is difficult to slow down as her length and jump allow her to attack over the block. She also can tool effectively and has good vision to swing around the block as well. Just a sophomore, Wachholz has a huge upside and as she continues to develop her skills and grow her competitive experience, she will undoubtedly be one of state’s best prospects come her senior season.
