Hamerski is a very capable libero. Her preparation is deliberate and patient without much extra movement. In serve receive, she reads and reacts well to the ball coming off of the server’s arm. She tracks the ball with good footwork and platform angles putting her team’s offense in-system often. Defensively, her vision is great, combined with good court awareness and anticipation when needed through the flow of a point. She has good quickness and utilizes her angle production well to help create multiple options for her setter’s distribution. She never seems surprised or out of position where she cannot pursue the ball to a good first touch, whether a hard driven ball, finesse shot, or a deflection coming from the opponent’s arm. She is a stabilizer from this position for her team. She and her NL 18-Black teammates will next compete at the NL Qualifier from January 31-February 2 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

– 5’11 | MH | Club: Northern Lights 18-Black
Moore recently helped her Mounds Park Academy team to their first class A state tournament appearance to wrap up her high school career. Perhaps undersized as a middle for top tier programs at the next level, she makes up for it with great work ethic and an aggressive mindset offensively. She shows good footwork in all facets of her game and on both sides of the ball with good dynamics in her arm work when attacking and blocking. A strength of hers is her ability to approach and attack off of one foot both in front and behind the setter. She has a more fluid quality in these patterns that also allow her higher elevation and contact point as compared to her two-footed approach. She shows good stability in her defensive work and brings that aggressive arm swing to the service line as well. You can see her compete next at the NL Qualifier in Minneapolis.

– 5’9 | L/DS | Club: Northern Lights 18-2
Pernsteiner has a good skill foundation as a defensive specialist. She creates a good solid base in both serve receive and defense that allows her to pursue the ball well. Her platform base is also solid and she works hard to create and sustain appropriate angles with each movement and contact. She has good athleticism and quickness, which allows her to cover a lot of the floor and make big plays in scramble situations. Her experience with one of the best high school programs around at Eagan ‘ last=”]’ last=”], combined with her opportunities with Northern Lights, is a big asset to have on the court given the competitiveness and success with both programs against the best competition. Her next scheduled action is at the Northern Lights Qualifier.

– 5’11 | MH | Club: Northern Lights 18-2
A Metro West all-conference honoree, Snader has great competitive experience, including an AAU national championship. As a key member for the Chanhassen high school team, Snader has proven to be a worthy anchor as a middle hitter given her volleyball knowledge and savvy. In addition to good footwork skills in her approach patterns, one of her best strengths is the combination of vision and court awareness she provides as she can pick apart a defense with good arm control to swing through various zones or by dropping in strategic tip shots for points or to take an opponent out of system. She is very effective off of one foot and at times looks the most comfortable and aggressive both in front and behind the setter on a slide pattern. She maximizes her lift well and has good arm work that creates torque, generates good pace, and allows her that movement and range when she swings. You can see Lauren and her team next at the Northern Lights Qualifier.
Georgia Tilton 6’3 | MH/Opp | Club: Northern Lights 18-Black
Tilton is tall and rangy, which works in her favor a lot on both sides of the ball. With moderate quickness and foot speed, she does have a good skill foundation. She utilizes her tools well by remaining committed to her responsibilities with good balance and patience. She has good versatility in her offensive work as she can get up and hit quick tempos in front with good movement while also able to aggressively pursue an overhead ball off of one foot. When her momentum and arm work are in sync with her setter she can get on a ball with good power. Improving her quickness and torque in her upper body when she swings will help her be more efficient and effective. She has the ability to put up a big block and apply a lot of pressure to opposing attackers. Additionally, she has the capability to score from the right side, which may be an optimal place for her at the next level with her ability to score off one or two feet and because she can put up an imposing block. Watch her next at the Northern Lights Qualifier.
