In the recent years we have seen the job of a libero being shared. One player may have an opposite colored jersey but the DS=defensive specialist is as essential and subs in for the back row rotations. In these two positions are some of the strongest players (pound for pound,) technically perfect form, “smart” players with strong court sense, and likely future coaches (for their knowledge of the fundamentals! Here is a quick peek at 5 dynamic defenders.
