The ACGC sophomore led all of Iowa with her kill total and kills per set (6.45). That placed her second in Iowa overall among hitters with at least 700 attack attempts. She is currently uncommitted.

Sophomore assists leaders

Name (school) total assists (assists per set)

[player_tooltip player_id="79259" first="Madison" last="Maahs"] (Western Dubuque) 947 (8.53)

Elle Greiner (Independence) 871 (8.46)

Aliyah Christensen (New London) 810 (8.27)

[player_tooltip player_id="17325" first="Kora" last="Ruff"] (Pleasant Valley) 787 (8.94)

[player_tooltip player_id="79260" first="Tori" last="Carroll"] (Bondurant-Farrar) 768 (8.00)

Emma Byker (Unity Christian) 764 (7.88)

Jewel Bergstrom (Boyden-Hull) 749 (8.14)

Camille Zweifel (Cherokee Washington) 709 (7.97)

[player_tooltip player_id="79277" first="Miranda" last="Ring"] (Tri-Center) 682 (6.96)

[player_tooltip player_id="79276" first="Emma" last="Flathers"] (Treynor) 662 (6.30)

Riley Jonker (Linn-Mar) 653 (6.47)

Madison Geise (Roland-Story) 650 (6.63)

[player_tooltip player_id="79232" first="Lauren" last="Carter"] (Winterset) 647 (7.89)

Anna Vander Waal (Pella) 643 (6.37)

Madison Wilcoxon (Sergeant Bluff-Luton) 637 (6.13)

--- Western Dubuque’s Maahs ranked 14th overall in the state with her assist total. She quarterbacked a young Bobcats team that surprised Class 4A (Iowa’s second-largest division) with a run to the state championship game. Maahs squared off against Sergeant Bluff-Luton’s Madison Wilcoxon, a fellow sophomore, in the title match.

--- Pleasant Valley’s Ruff had the most assists per set among sophomores with 8.94.
