Foerster has a good foundation of skills that have potential to break her into the upper echelon of six-rotation pin attackers with more experience and confidence in some facets. Offensively, she has arm work that creates good torque in the air. She utilizes her arm well in all situations when in system, on tempo, or if the set location is not ideal. She can swing aggressively or apply pressure through off speed control and placement. Her serve receive first contact work involves good patience but can improve with better eyework and an earlier read to make the right first step. She is a veteran attacker for perennial favorite Eagan ‘ last=”]’ last=”] and should find increased opportunities this fall among an offense that has a few great point scoring options.

She has looked more confident in her setting choice and delivery in all areas of the offense with ability to engage variety of tempo and location through the pins and middles. Perhaps it is the opportunity to distribute to a heavy arsenal of arms that may help to elevate her play more noticeably. At 6’2 she has improved her mobility to get to the ball with better hand position. Also being utilized on the right side as an attacker, she can increase production there with the same progress in footwork she has shown with her setting. Additionally, developing consistent momentum and torque will help her maximize her reach better. With this consistent progress McArthur could be solid commit as she has DI size and potential.

Grimm has great all-around skills that should help her find an opportunity with a solid program at the next level. Some of her best skills are in her ball control and defense that could be a good asset in the college game. She reads the floor well, has good range and quickness, and can make great adjustments with her angles to the point of contact to get her team in system. As an attacker she can score points with good elevation and an aggressive arm. Her quickness and lift off the ground also make her an effective blocker. Her Eastview team has talent and she has potential to add depth to their offense and complement some of their returning arms well.

Richards had a terrific 2019 campaign for WEM as she earned class 1A first team all-state and state tournament all-star honors. She helped guide her team to a runner-up finish at state and will be back to help her team towards taking that next step. She has good size as a pin attacker and can bring the heat. She is athletic, builds momentum well, and utilizes a fast arm that can get the ball on the floor or defender in a hurry. Richards has good versatility in her offense as well as she can score through a variety of tempos and attack points, including both pins. Look for Richards to be among the best point scorers in the state this next fall.

Greenway | 2021
State
MN
– 5’10 | MB | HS: Greenway | Prep Dig #58
A class 1A first team all-state selection in 2019, Vekich is a proven point scorer. She led Greenway offensively last fall as she saw many attempts for them on the left pin and in the middle. An example of this production is in the 26 kills (on 51 attempts) and .471 attack percentage in the first round of the state tournament against top-ranked and eventual champion Minneota. She is very deliberate in her approach pattern and when on balance in the air she can unleash good power at the peak of her jump. She elevates well and has good arm control to swing with that power through a variety of zones. Vekich has also shown good awareness to use her off speed game in timely ways that makes her increasingly dangerous to defend when mixing that pace and touch throughout her heavy offensive work load.
