Adelle Holland – Senior – Puyallup
Adele Holland has established herself as one of the best setters in the division with Puyallup with her consistent play over the last three years. The 5’8” setter registered 1,110 assists in 2019, averaging 9.7 per set, and, perhaps most importantly at the high school level, was extremely reliable to her hitters, putting the ball at the same spot every time, regardless of where the pass took her. Her performance last season, when the Vikings competed at the State Championship, was rewarded with an All-State team honorable mention.
Michelle Fast Michelle Fast 5'8" | S Lake Stevens | 2021 State WA – Senior – Lake Stevens
Michelle Fast Michelle Fast 5'8" | S Lake Stevens | 2021 State WA did an outstanding job in guiding Lake Stevens to the State Championship final in 2019. Her game last year was good enough to earn an All-State team honorable mention and the 24th spot at prepdig.com’s class of 2021 ranking.
Jacqueline Foster – Senior – Emerald Ridge
The 2019 Emerald Ridge that finished sixth at the State Championships had the privilege of being commanded by talented setter Jacqueline Forster. The 5’7” prospect had a stellar season with the Jaguars, averaging 9.5 assists per set, to a season total of 1,038. One of the best things about Foster’s game is her courage, which allows her to run an up-tempo and creative offense and to catch opponents off-guard with dumps on two.
Ellina Powell Ellina Powell 6'0" | S Jackson | 2022 WA – Junior – Jackson
Six-foot setters certainly don’t grow in trees, but Ellina Powell Ellina Powell 6'0" | S Jackson | 2022 WA ’s size is by no means the only attribute that left a good impression in those who watched Jackson last season. Even though the Timberwolves didn’t make it to the State Championship, Powell did just enough to impress with her 648 assists (8.5 per set), 171 digs, 64 aces and 27 blocks and get her name into prepdig.com’s class of 2022 watch list.
Kamryn Horton – Senior – Mount Vernon
Another player to not appear at last year’s State Championship and still end the season on a high note was Mount Vernon’s setter Kamryn Horton. A 5’9” floor general, Horton coordinated the Bulldogs’ offense in great style as she handed out 635 assists over the course of the season, averaging 8.8 per set, and also contributed in basically every other aspect of the game with 108 digs, 73 kills and a team-high 53 aces.
