Kelly is as dynamic and gritty as they come, and her commitment to a Big 12 Conference program is a testament to her talent and work ethic.

Kelly is currently ranked by Prep Dig as the top libero in Washington for the class of 2024. She has backed up that high ranking from December with a recent commitment to Kansas State in the Big 12. The future Wildcat is a precision passer and second ball setter from her platform. She will dig out a wicked angle swing on the run and drop it right on the setter to keep her team in the flow. Kelly can frustrate opposing attackers with her ability to get to and save sure kills and deflections, just what you want in a high-level libero.

Kelly is patrolling the backline for the WVBA 18 Adidas team this club season. The Lake Stevens standout and highly ranked 2024 prospect is one-half of a dynamic Libero/DS combo with Maile Lani Sugamura, with both of them on the squad, kills will be difficult to come by for opponents. WVBA Adidas will be hosting a WVBA/NPJ tournament over Presidents Day weekend while preparing for a massive April schedule with tournaments in Kentucky and Nevada.

The Lake Stevens squad had so much firepower, it was easy to overlook the excellent defense that Kelly played all season long. The game seems to slow down for Kelly, she reads hitters until the last second, sets her feet, and makes the quick reaction plays look easy. On truly hard-driven attacks she gets low, absorbs the ball in sprawl, and keeps her setter off the net, allowing the Vikings to attack in transition. Her setting is excellent as well, and she can move the ball to either pin using her hands or her platform.
