The regular season in Indiana is officially completed today, but that doesn’t mean all of the available players are taken. There are still a lot of kids with a lot of talent out there. Here are our top five pin attackers for the class of 2022.

#2: [player_tooltip player_id="85806" first="Katie" last="Egenolf"], 6-1, OH, Center Grove

A recent addition to the ten foot club, Katie, along with Butler commit [player_tooltip player_id="85701" first="Grace" last="Boggess"], have been the only terminators on an overachieving Trojans team. In Katie’s case, she is slowly but surely becoming a full-time six rotation player, and can both attack and defend in both the front and back rows to prove it. This is a can’t miss prospect that needs a home.

#13: [player_tooltip player_id="85816" first="Natalie" last="Lostutter"], 5-9, RS, Floyd Central

What stinks about Natalie’s situation in high school is that Floyd has yet to make it past Providence in their sectional. This, plus some considering her undersized, makes for a tough time for this kid to be noticed. Bottom line: Natalie is a Union-trained player with a high volleyball IQ that terminates and wins. Period.

#14: [player_tooltip player_id="85817" first="Macarty" last="McQueen"], 5-10, OH, Carmel

Another six-rotation player, Miss McQueen has a more refined defensive and serve receive capability than Miss Egenolf listed above, but her size has had some shy away from this highly skilled pin attacker. Playing in one of the toughest sectionals in the state, she may not make it to the regional round, making her an under appreciated asset for the Greyhounds.

#17: [player_tooltip player_id="85818" first="Tori" last="Woods"], 6-0, OH, West Lafayette

A recent addition to the top five available pin attackers in this class, Tori has proven to be a terminator with the potential of being a six-rotation player. I like her coach ability and willingness to do whatever it takes to win. This is a selfless student of the game that has slowly improved over the last two years. Watch out.

#21: [player_tooltip player_id="85812" first="Estella" last="Kleffman"], 5-9, OH, Trinity Lutheran

Far and away the smallest school on this list, 1A #1 Trinity Lutheran always has a bunch of volley dorks on their roster. Miss Kleffman is just part of a long line of midsized pin attackers from TL that get the job done at a high level and an even higher volleyball IQ. This kid will be fun to watch as the state tournament starts this coming week.
