Players to Watch
Mackenzie DePoy – Middle Blocker – HS: Lake Washington – 2024
Mackenzie DePoy is one of NW Jrs. 15 UA Blue’s tallest players at 5’10” and she plays an important role for the team at the net with bot the blocking and hitting games. She was part of a Lake Washington team that went undefeated during the last high school season, the first in her trajectory, and also gets great coaching there.
Anais Greydinger – Outside Hitter/Right Sider/Setter – HS: Sammamish – 2024
Anais Greydinger was a very developed and well-rounded game for a player of her age. A 5’6” prospect, she’s mostly used as an outside hitter for NW Jrs. 15 UA Blue but plays as a right sider and a setter for her high school team Sammamish. Part of her versatility comes from the fact that she also spends time playing on the sand.
Carolyn Davis – Middle Blocker – HS: Overlake – 2024
Middle blocker is certainly a position of strength for NW Jrs. 15 UA Blue as Carolyn Davis forms a strong duo with DePoy. At 5’9”, she has good physical tools to perform in the position and still has a lot of room for improvement on her game. That’s something she’ll certainly accomplish over the years being part of a solid high school program in Overlake.
