The regular season is coming to an end and the playoffs quickly approach, bringing the best time of the year when it comes to exciting matches.
Twice a week, we’ve been using this space to recommend some matches to keep and eye on and, most importantly, some of the most interesting prospects you’ll want to watch if you have an opportunity.
This should be a terrific matchup on Thursday, November 4:
Bothell vs Mount Si – 7pm
The top two teams of the 4A KingCo district meet ahead of the playoffs in a match that will reunite some of the top players in the state. Mount Si is currently at the top of the standings with a perfect record of eight wins and an overall campaign this season of 15 victories and four upsets. Ranked second in the district, Bothell have won 12 and lost just once in league play and hold a season win record of 23-3.

Jenna Legault Jenna Legault 5'11" | OH Bothell | 2022 WA – Outside Hitter – Club: Sudden Impact – 2022
Jenna Legault Jenna Legault 5'11" | OH Bothell | 2022 WA has been one of the top scorers in the entire state with her strong game at the net. She’s been absolutely lethal on offense, having registered a whopping 359 kills (4.6 per set). The 5’11” outside hitter also leads the Cougars in aces (58) and ranks second in digs (281) and passes (296). She also tallied 23 blocks.
Haedyn Bambolo Haedyn Bambolo 6'1" | OH Bothell | 2023 State WA – Outside Hitter – Club: Washington Volleyball Academy – 2023
Quality at the outside hitter position has been one of the reasons for Bothell’s strong season and Haedyn Bambolo Haedyn Bambolo 6'1" | OH Bothell | 2023 State WA ’s game plays a big part on it. A 6’1” outside hitter who thrives in all areas of the game, she’s been to help the Cougars in a variety of ways. Bambolo ranks second in kills to Legault with 271 but has been more efficient than her fellow outside hitter when digging (289), passing (308) and blocking (29).

Bailey Showalter – Outside Hitter – Club: DaKine Warriors – 2022
One of the most talented players in the state, Bailey Showalter is once again a key piece in Mount Si’s aspirations. A 6’1” outside hitter who can do it all on a volleyball court, from digging to hitting at a really high level, she has committed to play beach volleyball for the prestigious University of Southern California. Her offense is a joy to watch due to her rare combination of size, athleticism, technique and a high volleyball IQ.
Lauren Kremer – Middle Blocker – Club: Sudden Impact – 2023
Lauren Kremer is a 6’1” middle blocker who knows how to make her presence felt at the net. She’s extremely effective on offense as she makes contact with the ball at a very high point and can also put a lot of power on it. When blocking, she’s very long but also very fast, which allows her to put up big blocks against opposing hitters anywhere at the net.
