At 5’8, Karjala is an impact athlete for this team from the setter position. She can be a tough read with the consistent balance and high hand position she creates. There is a lot of potential in this squad including some dynamic action from the middle. When in system, Karjala has good ability to create space for her attackers to challenge defenses well in the air.

She has consistent tempo and location with good range in her distribution. At 5’10, she is really good on the move with priority to get her hands on the ball versus using her platform. Thatcher has good size at 5’11 that lends well to the overall size profile for this team through each rotation at the net. She runs a good offense as she has a good collection of arms to utilize at both pins and in the middle. This team has seen some good success recently as they finished as runner-up at Bluegrass and will enter the upcoming MEQ as the overall #8 seed in 17 Open. She is a Samford commit.

Probably the most skilled athlete on this team by position, Yacobucci has good touch and delivery through her extension. She has good size at 5’11 and can distribute the full range of the court in location and tempo with good footwork and high hand position. Consistency in ball control will allow better offensive balance, which she has the tools to create through her role for a team that has a lot of potential to compete well among the best in this age group.
