14s Division
In the 14s division, T-Street 14-Carson was a perfect 6-0 in matches and only dropped one set all weekend. Coast 14-1 finished in second place. Actyve 14-Black showed a lot of heart and resilience on their way to a third-place finish and was the only team to take a set off of T-Street in the tournament. They had to keep Balboa Bay 14 Blue at bay, which they did in two sets (25-14, 25-23).
15s Division
The 15s division saw SG Elite 15 Roshambo come out on top without dropping a set (11-0), going 6-0 on the weekend. Outside hitter, Audrey Nuckols, was consistent on the pin for SG Elite and middle blocker, Piper Scherbert, put up a big block and moved very well laterally along the net. Scherbert also hit quicks very well and has a quick arm. A spirited 949 G15 Black team did everything they could but couldn’t find an answer for SG Elite. 949 was solid all tournament, only losing to SG Elite. SG Elite beat Seal Beach 15-Black en route to the final in the gold bracket, which meant that Seal Beach had to battle it out with Vegas Aces 15 UA. The match was a battle, going three sets but Seal Beach eventually came out on top finishing the match in three sets (25-22, 15-25, 15-13) and taking third place overall and earning a bid.
16s Division
Forza1 North 16 UA was on a roll all weekend and never looked back, taking first place without dropping a set (14-0). They defeated Coast 16-Davis in straight sets (25-13, 25-21) in the final. Forza1 libero, Rylie Sengdara, did a great job covering her hitters and was consistently solid in the back row. After dropping a close one to Forza1 North, SCVC 16-Roxy fought to overcome Wave 16-Nick to earn a third-place finish.
17s Division
In the 17s division, Actyve 17-HC cruised into first place (6-0) taking down a talented Seal Beach 17-Black team. Actyve’s setter, Kaia Kanan, works really hard to better the ball no matter where she is on the court, putting up hittable balls to put her attackers in good situations. Opposite, Isabella Healy, did a great job reading the sets and setting up a good block on the pin in the final. Seal Beach 17-Black, finishing in second, has now double qualified having just qualified in Chicago at the Windy City Qualifier over Easter weekend. They are led by standout setter,

Sweeney is a good six rotation player with solid all-around skills, while Taulua can really hammer the ball from the pin when she gets the opportunity. In the third place match, Forza1 North 17 UA had to take down Forza1 17 UA to secure third place.
