<p>Sophomore hitters are poised to be among Region 2’s top underclassmen in the 2022 high school volleyball season. </p>
<p>A look at five 2025 Region 2 hitters to watch follows. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="172936" first="Brylee" last="Butts"]</strong> is a sophomore middle hitter from Caldwell County High School. Butts is agile and moves well from side to side. Providing a strong presence along the middle of the net, Butts blocks consistently from her position. </p>
<p><strong>NeVaeh Day</strong> is a sophomore middle hitter from Christian County High School. Day closes blocks well, both individually and with teammates. Quick reacting, Day reads the setter accurately to get the most out of her attack.</p>
<p><strong>Skylar Kirby</strong> is a sophomore outside hitter from Christian County High School. Kirby possesses solid jumping skills and elevates well at the net. Comfortable contributing from both the front row and the back row, Kirby completes attack hits consistently. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="159370" first="Olivia" last="Oakley"]</strong> is a sophomore outside hitter/right side hitter from University Heights Academy. Oakley possesses a diverse skill set with the ability to deliver offensively and defensively. Able to hit and pass, Oakley works well with the middle hitter on blocks. </p>
<p><strong>Carly Porter</strong> is a sophomore hitter from Crittenden County High School. Porter adjusts well to sets coming from any location and produces in multiple categories. A player who possesses solid back row skills, Porter reads opposing defenses accurately. </p>
