Mitchell (pictured) has worked on improving her range during club season and it is paying off. She does a great job reading opposing hitters and setters, moves into position and stops to make precise passes. She provides good net coverage and gets her hands up quick on blocked balls. Mitchell adds sound out of system passes toward the net so hitters can take big swipes at balls.

Hess is a versatile player for the Hawks. Hess can step in at setter and take quality swings on the outside. She has improved at getting on top of balls during club season. Hess adds solid first touches and makes things difficult at the net with her blocking skills. She at least gets touches on balls to slow down balls for defensive specialists.

Brown has become more consistent attacking balls during club season. Brown uses her size to take nice swings and record quality blocks. Brown has a roll shot she can send to opposite shallow lines to surprise defenders and hit off blocks for big points.

Pumphrey's net play helped the Cardinals drive to the 10th Region championship for the first time in program history this past season. She takes back set ones and sends them to different parts of the court. She can also tip to the shallow middle of the court. Pumphrey is a great one-on-one blocker. Pumphrey also creates points with her aggressive serving.

Gianzero delivers consistent play from all six spots on the court. Gianzero can execute the pipe play from the back row and take quality line and cross shots. Gianzero can tip balls off blocks for big points and is reliable on first touches. She's not afraid to stick out her arms to keep plays alive.
