Latest 28 Rankings: Five players who rose 24 or more spots

Player rankings have their challenges like anything in life. Sometimes a good prospect gets overlooked. Sometimes scouts do not know enough about a certain player to add them to even the Watch List. These five made a huge enough splash in the last three months to move up at least 24 spots.    Tilden's solid presence in the back row helped her move up 24 spots. It also helped Tilden moved up to the Tsunami team this club season. Tilden (pictured) displays great form even when going to one knee or to her sides for first touches. She consistently forms walls around balls even if the first touches come from her sides. Tilden executes bump and overhead passes and guards lines and three zones with authority. If balls come anywhere near her, she'll likely dig them up. Tilden anticipates balls well and provides sound net protection. Tilden sends across a tough spinning serve. Tilden's progress is something to marvel at.     McGillicuddy jumped up 59 spots as the result of her tenacity and proficiency on the court. McGillicuddy makes bump and overhead passes routinely. She has great range and keeps her arms aimed forward even if to the side to send balls to the setters. McGillicuddy can handle tough line drive hits and move forward quickly on softer hits. McGillicuddy has a great platform and does a great job backing things up at the net. McGillicuddy adds in a tough spinning jump serve to different parts of the court.     Fawns is having a tremendous club season thus moving up 53 spots. She uses her height well to dominate the net. Fawns is proficient executing quicks, ones and gap shots. She can send balls to the open side lines from the six zone regularly. Fawns makes good adjustments when balls are not set perfectly and hits balls over and around tough blockers. Fawns can even angle balls off blocks for huge points. Fawns puts balls down on sound defensive specialists and is a proficient blocker.     Stevie jumped up 28 spots as perhaps the most underrated setter in the 9th Region. Her dedication to the game really showed off last season. Stevie runs a proficient offense involving many hitters. She executes sound forward passes and does not lean much on back sets to as to tip off blockers. Stevie does not hesitate to dive to keep plays alive. Stevie will tap second balls over blockers to surprise opponents. Look for her improvements to continue during club season.     Kinkead has really come around in the front row, thus jumping up 68 spots. She goes up with a purpose and finishes swings with authority. Kinkead will wait for the right second to take swings. Kinkead puts down overpassed balls quickly. She takes solid swings from the middle and outsides and can angle balls off blocks for big points. Kinkead is a sound solo and double blocker. Opponents can't hit soft shots on her. Kinkead's confidence has also risen with this new level of consistency.
