Taylor Porter Taylor Porter 5'11" | OH Cypress Ranch | 2025 State #85 Nation TX – Cy Ranch
Taylor Porter Taylor Porter 5'11" | OH Cypress Ranch | 2025 State #85 Nation TX has taken control of the court this year in all aspects of the game. She is in the top 15 in kills in the state, and the top 3 in her district with 261 kills. She is also a district leader in aces with 36, and in digs with 206. Cy Ranch is ranked 2nd in the state, and that’s where being a leader in all categories comes into play. If Taylor and the team can continue to be solid in all areas of the game, they can make a really deep playoff push.
Jordan Taylor Jordan Taylor 6'5" | MB Langham Creek | 2025 State #46 Nation TX – Langham Creek
Jordan makes the list for being present in two huge stat categories, blocking and hitting percentage. She got 134 total blocks on the season and is hitting a .369. Jordan does have height on her side standing at 6’5, but what she does with it matters more. Since her freshman year, she has gained the confidence to be a bigger part of Langham Creek’s leadership and success on the court.
Isabella Andrews Isabella Andrews 5'11" | OH Samuel Clemens - Schertz TX | 2025 State TX – Clemens
Isabella Andrews Isabella Andrews 5'11" | OH Samuel Clemens - Schertz TX | 2025 State TX is an outside hitter for Clemens and her stats show she is one of the most efficient outsides in the state. With 236 kills and a whopping .355 hitting percentage, you can guarantee some offense out of her.
Amelia Robinson Amelia Robinson 6'1" | MB Llano | 2025 State TX – Lago Vista
Amelia Robinson Amelia Robinson 6'1" | MB Llano | 2025 State TX makes the list for ranking in the top 10 for hitting percentage in the state. Hitting a .330, she is proving to be very effective offensively for Lago Vista. She has also improved her passing game and has taken on some serve receive and defensive responsibilities for her team. She has stepped up to fill a role and that’s exactly what her team needs.
Sydney Bryant Sydney Bryant 6'3" | OH George Ranch | 2025 State #26 Nation TX – George Ranch
Sydney Bryan is leading all sophomores in the state with 370 kills, and makes the top 10 in hitting percentage. Standing at 6’3, she is very disciplined on contacting the ball high and swings aggressively to score. She has really improved since last season, and her potential is starting to show this season. Keep an eye out for Sydney as she develops.
Ella Lewis Ella Lewis 5'11" | OH The Woodlands | 2025 State TX – The Woodlands
Ella Lewis Ella Lewis 5'11" | OH The Woodlands | 2025 State TX has turned into the whole package for The Woodlands. She is hitting north of a .300 for her career, and has already passed 283 balls in serve receive. Her .301 hitting percentage makes her one of the most reliable outside hitters in the state, and The Woodlands has capitalized off of that and has been a huge piece of their team’s success so far.
Samara Coleman Samara Coleman 6'0" | OH Grand Oaks | 2025 State #74 Nation TX – Grand Oaks
Samar Coleman is a huge part of the offense for Grand Oaks. Walking onto a new team this year, she is still figuring out the leadership aspect. Her skill is not lacking on any part of the ball as she leads Grand Oaks in 5 stat categories. She is averaging 4.1 kills per set and is averaging as the team’s dig, reception, and kill leader.
Giana Brown Giana Brown 6'1" | MB Brennan | 2025 State TX – Brennan
Giana Brown Giana Brown 6'1" | MB Brennan | 2025 State TX ranks 3rd among sophomores in the blocking category for good reason. Standing at 6’1, she is long, fast, and a solid block. She has 107 total blocks on the season so far. She doesn’t stop there either. She has a heavy arm and can put the ball away on offense as well as she leads her team in hitting percentage.
Piper Mickenheim – Argyle
Piper has almost 550 digs for Argyle already this season which puts her second among all sophomores and 5th in the entire state of Texas. Her aggressive go-getter attitude has been attributed to the massive amounts of digs she has accumulated thus far. Her read in middle back is great, and she always passes to the middle of the floor, keeping her teams offense in rhythm.
Gabby Baker – Rudder
Gabby Baker makes the list after surpassing 1,000 digs as a sophomore, with over half the season left to play. She is in the top 5 in the state of Texas for digs by a sophomore. She has a very disciplined angle when she passes, and can pass from either side of her body very well, which makes her a strong middle back for her team.
