High School Team Feature – Seven Lakes Spartans

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The high school season is entering its final portion in the state of Texas as the playoffs quickly approach and every team in the state has been on the court more than enough times for us to have a good idea about what to expect from them.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here at PrepDig, we are committed to covering and promoting as many prospects as possible, from the most popular names to the hidden gems that typically abound at the Lone Star State and during the high school season we're also doing it by featuring the teams they play at.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Every time we're at the gym, we take the time to give a good look at the teams on the court and we'll try to feature as many as possible here in this space. Today's article will present the Seven Lakes Spartans.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"fontSize":"large"} --> <p class="has-large-font-size"><strong>The Squad</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Spartans entered the season with important pieces to fill with the graduations of Casey Batenhorst, Emma Schroder and Mia Blum. Extremely physical, she is very difficult to stop when set at the pin or even the backcourt because of her tremendous vertical and impressive firepower. Sam-Olibale is also very consistent with her passing and often splits the court in two with libero Grace Lanier in serve-receive. She communicates well with her teammates and also exerts her leadership through her hard work and production on the court. Very technical and mentally strong, Lanier is a player that rarely makes errors with her technique and position. Her level of attention is so high that at times it seems she's one step ahead of everyone else on the court in terms of knowing what's going to happen next. Very technical, Romriell also excels with her ball distribution, keeping all hitters involved and maintaining great accuracy and consistency, even when playing fast. She's also very good out-of-system, always doing her best to put her hitter in a position to score.
