Mallori’s All-State Watchlist – Volume 1

Please be on the lookout for future watchlists as well as our final All-State Awards coming later this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":3} --> <h3>Blair Thiebaud - College Station - Freshman - Setter</h3> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Blair Thiebaud has been on our radar all season. The freshman setter from College Station is second overall in the entire country for assists among freshman setters with 1107. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":3} --> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id='202719' first='Kacey' last='Kazmierski'] - Lake Travis - Junior - Setter</h3> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another outstanding setter in the Central Texas area is Kacey. She has a whopping 1121 assists on the season and is the main reason Lake Travis has done so well over the last 3 months.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":3} --> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id='141246' first='Gracie' last='Campbell'] - Klein Oak - Senior - Outside Hitter</h3> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='141246' first='Gracie' last='Campbell'] is a 6 rotation outside for Klein Oak. She has 638 kills on the season so far and is not stopping anytime soon. Gracie has a strong whip on the ball, and she can put the ball away from any position. Gracie is committed to Nicholls State.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":3} --> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id='176640' first='Skylar' last='George'] - Stratford - Senior - Outside Hitter</h3> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Stratford finished first in their district this year thanks to a very well-rounded team and stud outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='176640' first='Skylar' last='George']. She has 434 kills on the season and has been a solid rock on offense for Stratford all year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":3} --> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id='197076' first='Skylar' last='Skrabanek'] - Tompkins - Junior - Outside Hitter</h3> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='197076' first='Skylar' last='Skrabanek'] makes our list for her well-rounded volleyball approach. She is hitting over .300 from the pin position for Tompkins. She has also been passing out of serve receive a lot with almost 400 serve receive attempts. Skylar is committed to Florida State for beach volleyball, and you can definitely see her beach style of play on the court.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":3} --> <h3>Na'diya Shelby - Friendswood - Freshman - Outside Hitter</h3> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Na'diya Shelby has had a breakout freshman season for Friendswood. She has tacked on 69 blocks and 269 kills over 113 sets. Na'diya is a high flyer jumping well over 10 feet, she is very fun to watch!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":3} --> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id='212727' first='Jordan' last='Taylor'] - Langham Creek - Sophomore - MB</h3> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='212727' first='Jordan' last='Taylor'] has improved so much from last season both offensively and defensively. She has 180 blocks on the season, which is top 10 in the state. There is no double Jordan is a blocking machine that can transition quickly into offense.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":3} --> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id='181367' first='Kaitlyn' last='Gotsch'] - Friendswood - Senior - MB</h3> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='181367' first='Kaitlyn' last='Gotsch'] is also in the top 10 in the state in blocks with 174. She also broke her schools season blocking record as well. Kaitlyn is committed to Grand Canyon University.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":3} --> <h3>Ava Martindale - College Station - Senior - Libero</h3> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ava Martindale is a digging machine for College Station. Her 781 digs this season put her in the top 15 in the entire state. She has tons of range on defense and can easily cover 50% of the court. Ava is committed to UTEP Volleyball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":3} --> <h3>Molly Tuzzo - The Woodlands - Senior - Libero</h3> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Molly Tuzzo is easily one of the best liberos to come out of the state of Texas. She is committed to Kentucky and for good reason. She has 914 digs, which makes her number 3 overall in the state. Molly can dig a hard-driven ball with no block at all, somehow keeping it in play.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Nominations and the watchlist will continue throughout the post-season.
