Team Profile: Crestview Rebels (Columbiana, OH)

With a 14-0 league record, the Rebels are at the top of the Mahoning Valley Conference-Grey Division. Ranked #8 in the most recent Ohio Division III poll, Crestview reached the regional semifinals in 2021 and look to extend their postseason experience in the coming weeks. At 6'3, she has great size and length that benefits her play on both sides of the ball as she puts up big numbers both offensively and defensively at the net. Her arm is utilized at every location across the net and she has proven her ability to score through a variety of tempos. Emch has earned over 300 kills this season with 560 kills over two-season career with an efficiency of .433 over that span. On the defensive side, she is applies a lot of pressure to the opponent's offense as she averages 3.4 blocks per match. She has good balance and patience to move laterally to close down hitters and get her hands up and well across the net. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='139278' first='Grace' last='Auer']</strong> - 2024 | OH/S<br>At 6'0, Auer makes big contributions for this team in different aspects of the game. As a hitter, she has 265 kills on the season for a 4.3 kills per set average. She also scores with good efficiency as she is hitting at a .424 clip. The junior also runs the offense part-time and utilizes her high volume offensive counterpart Emch well by creating good opportunities for her to score. Auer delivers 5.2 assists and leads Parkway defensively at 12.8 digs per match. One of her biggest contributions is at the service line as she has 92 aces on the season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='227809' first='Alaina' last='Auer']</strong> - 2026 | S/OH<br>Just a freshman, Auer helps run Parkway's offense and is averaging 4.6 assists per set while also contributing double-figure digs per match at 10 per contest. At 5'8, Auer contributes on the offensive side at 1.5 kills per set.
