Ryland Minnick l Crosshill Christian l 2026 l 6’0″ l MB l G3 Volleyball
Minnick is stepping up big time for the Crosshill Christian Eagles. Only a freshman, she is relied on heavily for her solid play. In one league match, she hit 100% with 8 kills, had an average sere receive rating of 2.63, and had 2 service aces.
Adrienne Nguyen Adrienne Nguyen 5'7" | DS/L St. Mary's Academy | 2024 State OR l St. Mary’s Academy l 2024 l 5’6” l DS/S l Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy
Nguyen is a three-year varsity starter for St. Mary’s Academy Blues. As co-captain and primary setter she is able to lead the offense and defensively keep the team in rallies. Trained as a defensive specialist during club season, she steps into the setters position with confidence. Her coach commended her for being the glue of this Blues squad and for her ability to command respect from her teammates. She is the ultimate hype teammate and exudes positive energy on the court. Across two league matches, Nguyen posted 74 assists, 5 blocks, and 17 digs.
Julissa Pernsteiner l St. Mary’s Academy l 2024 l 5’8″ l MB/RS l Excel NW
Pernsteiner is coming into her own this season for the St. Mary’s Academy Blues as one of their middle blockers. A dynamic athlete with the ability to play any position across the front row, she jumps well and is able to put the ball away with a heavy yet fast arm swing. Across two league matches, Pernsteiner had 40 kills, 4 blocks, and 7 service aces.
Kaylea Rietdyk Kaylea Rietdyk 5'6" | DS/L Mazama | 2023 State OR l Mazama High School l 2023 l 5’7” l DS l Basin Bombers Volleyball Club
Rietdyk is the returning libero for the Mazama High School Vikings. Defensively she is relied on heavily to keep the Vikings in rally after rally. She brings solid ball control while on serve receive, helping keep the team in system. Her play has been vital in the Vikings maintaining a top 10 State ranking. Across their three league matches, Rietdyk amassed 14 service aces and 55 digs.
Maya Rosenberg l Gaston High School l 2023 l 5’10” l MB
Rosenberg is fulfilling a new role for the Gaston High School Greyhounds this season as a starting middle blocker. While new to the middle position, she is taking this change with a positive attitude and an eagerness to get better. Posting 10 kills, 9 digs, 5 blocks, and 2 service aces, her all-around play is a major factor in their #2 State standing.
Haley Saunders l Sutherlin High School l 2023 l 5’4” l DS
Saunders is the lone varsity returner on the Sutherlin High School Bulldogs. As the teams starting libero, she has taken on a significant leadership role this season. Her coach noted her relentless pursuit to keep every ball alive. She posted an impressive 18 digs, 3 kills, and a pass rating of 3.0 during the Bulldogs fourth week of play.
Lindsey Schmidt l Silverton High School l 2023 l 5’10” l S
Schmidt had to step up majorly for the Silverton High School Foxes during the fourth week of play. With #1 recruit and Washington commit Alexis Haury Alexis Haury 5'10" | S Silverton | 2024 State #9 Nation OR out with a mild ankle injury, the Foxes looked to Schmidt to execute a 5-1. With the help of Haury from the sidelines, Schmidt successfully ran the offense and helped the team defeat Corvallis. She posted 26 assists, 2 kills, 2 service aces, and a block.
Mia Starr Mia Starr 5'10" | S Central Catholic | 2023 State #176 Nation OR l Central Catholic High School l 2023 l 5’10” l S l Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy
Committed: University of California, Davis
Starr is a four-year varsity returner for the Central Catholic High School Rams. As the teams primary setter, she is never seen off the court. Whether running a 5-1 or a 6-2 opposite 2024 Delainy Williams Delainy Williams 5'8" | S Central Catholic | 2024 State OR , she always steps on the court with humble confidence. As co-captain, she leads the Rams with integrity and heart. In the Ram’s fourth week of play, which included a tournament, Starr posted some solid numbers. She had 18 services aces on 69 attempts with 0 errors, had 13 kills hitting a .370, had 4 blocks, 31 digs, and 86 assists.
Zoë Szczesniak Zoë Szczesniak 5'8" | DS/L Nelson | 2023 State OR l Nelson High School l 2023 l 5’8″ l DS l Chaos Volleyball Club
Szczesniak is the primary libero for the Nelson High School Hawks. Her relentless defensive pursuit, excellent court vision, and the ability to anticipate have all been a major factor in the Hawks dominant season thus far. A leader on the court, especially in the back row, she is looked to to keep the Hawks in system. She accumulated 40 digs, 8 assists, had an average serve receive rating of 2.43 and was 100% from the service line during the Hawks fourth week of play.
Allison Waechter l Sutherlin High School l 2026 l 5’11” l OH
Coming into the season for the Sutherlin High School Bulldogs with little volleyball experience, Waechter has been thrown into the varsity level and is improving rapidly. A hard worker with a drive to get better, she is proving one to watch over the coming seasons if she is able to get on with a club team and continue to improve during the off-season. With 7 kills and 2 blocks, she is contributing to the offense of the Bulldogs week after week.
Tayler Westfall l Silverton High School l 2023 l 6’0” l MB l Capital City Elite
Westfall has been a steady contributor to the Silverton High School Foxes’ offense as one of their starting middle blockers. Her play at the net has been critical in the Foxes maintaining a top spot in the State rankings. A versatile attacker with the ability to play any spot across the front row, her teammates rely on her to put the ball away. In the Foxes league matches, Westfall posted 13 kills and 3 blocks.
