Underestimated can be a good thing, especially in the playoffs, and Fulshear has taken full advantage of that and played very solid volleyball. They have been well coached and disciplined, which is most of the reason they have 5 Regional Final appearances in 5 years. United has been off everyone's radar, and they have made a splash in the post-season. Lake Travis also stunned Westwood last round in 5 sets. Both teams are coming off huge 5 set wins, who can keep a cool head this weekend and make it to the regional finals? Their size and athleticism match up well with Prosper's heavy hitters. Boswell's libero Alena Lopez has been great in the post-season. She had 30 digs against Byron Nelson. They will have to play Rockwall, who just stunned Sachse in 5 sets. They barely hit over a .100 and had 11 blocking errors. The Woodlands has to have passing from their elite players like [player_tooltip player_id='179917' first='Ella' last='Lewis'] and Molly Tuzzo. They also need to have control on offense from Clair Dewine. Randall has only lost 8 games all season compared to Decatur's 18. From the outside looking in, it seems that Randall just plays solid volleyball, keeps mixing up the offense, and stays level-headed. Randall will have to watch out for sophomore Gracie Trulson, who is the team's kill leader. These two girls have been crushing the ball and blocking very well. You have to credit some post-season success on Lago Vista's very tough pre-season schedule.
