Can Fulshear make it to the Regional Finals for the 5th time in 5 years?

Fulshear volleyball has been underestimated all season. After some early season losses, the rankings seemed to fall off for the Chargers. Underestimated can be a good thing, especially in the playoffs, and Fulshear has taken full advantage of that and played very solid volleyball. They have been well coached and disciplined, which is most of the reason they have 5 Regional Final appearances in 5 years. They are playing with three stellar sophomores, 6 rotation outside [player_tooltip player_id='179898' first='Bailey' last='Warren'], libero [player_tooltip player_id='179896' first='Sydney' last='Black'], and setter Alexys James. They will look to intensity, ball control, and an aggressive serving game to keep Lake Creek out of system.

Can Laredo United keep the upset going against Lake Travis?

United got the upset against state-ranked O'Connor last round, and now they will face another solid team, Lake Travis. United has been off everyone's radar, and they have made a splash in the post-season. Lake Travis also stunned Westwood last round in 5 sets. Both teams are coming off huge 5 set wins, who can keep a cool head this weekend and make it to the regional finals? If Lake Travis can get production out of [player_tooltip player_id='177544' first='Avery' last='Hamlin'], they have a good chance.

Can 3rd-place district finisher Boswell hold off Prosper?

Boswell has surprised a lot of people, and are hanging on in the Regional Tournament. Their size and athleticism match up well with Prosper's heavy hitters. Boswell's libero Alena Lopez has been great in the post-season. She had 30 digs against Byron Nelson. Boswell will have to use their height and blocking to their advantage against Prosper's pin-hitting studs [player_tooltip player_id='87554' first='Ella' last='Chaney'] and [player_tooltip player_id='155117' first='Ayden' last='Ames'].

Can Bridgeland keep another Cinderella story going this year and win against Rockwall?

Bridgeland is trying to repeat last year's success and get back to the state tournament. They will have to play Rockwall, who just stunned Sachse in 5 sets. Bridgeland has to take Rockwall seriously now and look out for [player_tooltip player_id='197071' first='Harley' last='Krause'], who has been so good in the playoffs. [player_tooltip player_id='141140' first='Becca' last='Kelley'] had an impressive 30 kills against Sachse, and Bridgeland's block will have to be solid on Friday night.

The Woodlands barely outlasted Tomball, how will they fair against Waxahachie?

The Woodlands had a rare fall out of their ball control and offense against Tomball and it almost cost them another tournament appearance. They barely hit over a .100 and had 11 blocking errors. The Woodlands has to have passing from their elite players like [player_tooltip player_id='179917' first='Ella' last='Lewis'] and Molly Tuzzo. They also need to have control on offense from Clair Dewine. The Woodlands had a rare slip-up in the quarterfinal round, but if they can bounce back and control Waxahachie's senior stud Amber Morgan, they can pull out a win.

Randall and Decatur have basically swept their way into the Regional Tournament, who can pull this one out?

Randall has only dropped 1 set in the playoffs and Decatur has dropped none. Randall has only lost 8 games all season compared to Decatur's 18. From the outside looking in, it seems that Randall just plays solid volleyball, keeps mixing up the offense, and stays level-headed. Randall will have to watch out for sophomore Gracie Trulson, who is the team's kill leader. Decatur also has a stud at the libero position with [player_tooltip player_id='176667' first='Morgan' last='Hammer'].

Can 3rd place district finisher Lago Vista keep their team alive through the Regional round?

Lago Vista is just playing well right now. They have a lethal sister duo [player_tooltip player_id='180663' first='Amelia' last='Robinson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='176658' first='Stella' last='Robinson'] in the middle position. These two girls have been crushing the ball and blocking very well. You have to credit some post-season success on Lago Vista's very tough pre-season schedule. It has definitely set them up for tough game success.
