SubscribeBurr is a real competitor and you can see it in her style of play as well as how her team feeds off her energy. In 2021 she played a role in Cannon Fall’s Class AA 6th place finish but in 2022 she took the reigns. Burr led her squad to a Class AA State Champion and earned Class AA State All-Tournament Team and the Class AA All-State Team. She plays with elite effort on every play is zoned in with maximum concentration. Burr is highly aware of her impact on the match outcome and doesn’t hold back. I’ve also seen Burr used on either pins and as a middle blocker so her versatility also makes her an awesome steal for South Dakota State.
Burger was a role player in East Ridge’s 2021 Class AAAA Runner-up finish as an explosive lefty swinging from the right side. She also secured a spot on the AVCA Phenom Watchlist in 2022. Burger can swing on a number of different tempo sets and knows just where to place the ball for the point. As a blocker she gets her fair share of stuff blocks but she gets a lot of great touches and can slow the ball down to help her team take better control on offense. Burger uses proper footwork and she is quick lateraly to get in front of the opposing hitter.
Bjella is a booming lefty swing that landed her on the All Region First Team in 2022. I’m looking forward to seeing her play with SWMNVB 17-1 this club season. At the Prep Dig Minnesota Top 250 Expo in December she showed off a violent swing and demonstrated that a tight set is no problem for her. Bjella has a high contact point and as a blocker she can dissuade or deny an opposing attacker. Her blocking style is all about attacking the attacker.
Haus is a product of the Kandi Elite program and her aggressive pursuit of the block seperates her from the competition. In 2022 she earned All Region First Team honors with her ability to hone in on key players and set solid blocks. Haus does a nice job knowing when to give and take line and demonstrates sound footwork to front attackers. She can effectively attack from both pins and consistently attack the line or seam. Haus efficiently rebounds from an attack error and sees the block to work around it.
Anderson has found her way onto our radar after attending our Prep Dig Minnesota Top 250 Expo last year. Since then she also made her way to North Country Region High Performance Camp and landed a spot on the AVCA Phenom Watchlist. Anderson uses numerous tools to score and is flawless in transition. She is also a talented setter and can set or attack a variety of tempos. Anderson can attack a variety of sets and direct her shot just where it needs to go.
