Haus is a dynamic attacker for Kandi Elite ‘s 18’s team.  She has a wicked lefty swing and she isn’t afraid to tool a block for a point.  I love the fact that she is swinging from the back row as well providing her setter another option on offense.  One of my favorite plays was when Haus took an attack in front of the setter and froze the opposing defense in their tracks.

Abby was nearly unstoppable throughout the Slam. She was lethal on offense in all six rotations. Abby is a lefty right side who is athletic and explosive. You can hear the snap and thump of the ball when she contacts it. Abby seemed to have endless options for earning points.

Sartell-St. Stephen’s Abby Haus Abby Haus 6'1" | RS Sartell | 2024 State MN did well against big schools at the Fall Classic at St. Michael-Albertville.

Haus posted six kills, three service aces, two total blocks, and seven digs in a 2-0 win over Robbinsdale Armstrong 25-16, 25-17. She also fared well against St. Michael-Albertville despite a 2-0 loss, 25-23, 25-18. Against the Knights, Haus posted seven kills, a service ace, a block, and five digs.

Haus shined on her kill attempts against the Falcons with excellent velocity and placement. She drilled the ball into difficult spots for the Falcons to return.

In the STMA game, Haus excelled at firing her kill attempts toward the backline, and the Knights couldn’t return them. Haus also showed excellent timing when going for her kills.

Abby Haus Abby Haus 6'1" | RS Sartell | 2024 State MN of Sartell-St. Stephen stepped up in a 3-1 victory over Sauk Rapids-Rice by scores of 22-25, 25-14, 25-17, 25-21.

Haus delivered 19 kills, 21 digs, and 13 serve receptions. She has a strong senior season going overall with 219 kills, 28 service aces, 28 total blocks, and 202 digs.

Amid her solid career numbers, Haus could hit 500 kills later season. She currently has 463 career kills.

Haus hits with authority when going for kill as the ball looks like it was shot out of a cannon. Her velocity on kill attempts makes it extremely difficult for the opposition to make a play on the ball.

Haus is a product of the Kandi Elite program and her aggressive pursuit of the block seperates her from the competition.  In 2022 she earned All Region First Team honors with her ability to hone in on key players and set solid blocks.  Haus does a nice job knowing when to give and take line and demonstrates sound footwork to front attackers.  She can effectively attack from both pins and consistently attack the line or seam.  Haus efficiently rebounds from an attack error and sees the block to work around it.
