Green is an attacking machine. At the 3A level this past high school season she literally could not be stopped, taking the #1 spot for most kills in Oregon with 423, and that is across all classifications. The load she took on this high school season was significant, rarely stepping off the court, and helping the team get to the 3A State finals. Playing all six-rotations, she greatly improved her backrow play and her ability to attack out of system.

Longaker had a breakout high school season which is why she rose 11 spots in the Rankings. On her first season on varsity at Central Catholic, a powerhouse volleyball program, she went from not having a starting spot on the first day to being the primary libero by the end. She is incredibly consistent on serve receive and was able to keep the team as in system as possible. Longaker’s attitude on the court is relaxed yet confident which ancorched the backrow of the Rams.

Madsen’s improvement over the last club season with OJVA 15-1 was insane, to say the least. She went from being a fairly under the radar recruit coming into her freshman season to one of the top middle blockers in the 2026 class. She has a lot of good things going for her already, she is tall, athletic, and quick. She is fast in transition and consistently makes herself available to her setter.

Kayfes is another player who shot up in terms of improvement over the last year. During her 14s season, she did not have a prominent role on the team, playing behind some very talented attackers. However, some athletes switched clubs which allowed her to take on a much bigger role for OJVA 15-1 as a starting middle blocker. A very competitive swimmer until a few years ago, she is incredibly athletic and strong. It will be interesting to see where Kayfes is utilized on OJVA 16-1, she is incredibly versatile and could play any position across the front row.

Scholl comes from Sisters, Oregon so until the Top 250 Expo in November we had not seen her in action. However, she made an impression on us early on. She was ripping at the ball from everywhere on the court, front row, back row, middle, or the pins. With a heavy arm, when she connects with the ball, it tended to hit the floor. She is incredibly versatile and well-rounded, trying her hand at setting during the high school season. She is one to watch over the coming seasons given her height, physicality, and athleticism.

Young showed a significant amount of improvement over the past year. She made the jump to varsity and secured a starting spot for Sprague High School. She was a major player in their success and helped the team get to the quarterfinals versus Jesuit. Standing at only 5’9”, she is definitely a bit undersized to be playing in the middle. However, what she may lack in height she makes up for in some serious hops. She is a disciplined and formidable blocker and shuts down hitters often.

Axmaker is a speedy defensive specialist. She honed in on her back row abilities this past year, taking on the role of libero during her club season with CCE 16-1. Having played as a defensive specialist at the varsity level for South Salem, she was ready to take on a bigger role. She is incredibly steady on serve receive and is not afraid to step into a seam to take a tough serve. She has an insanely fast reaction time and makes incredible saves to keep the rally alive.
