Houston Stop 1 Top 250 Expo Top Perfomers: DS/L

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wow! What a great day of volleyball we had at the Prep Dig Top 250 Expo at our firs stop in Houston! Tons of tallent to see and new names to get familar with are coming your way soon! We will start our top performers with our DS/L group. There were so many great liberos at the showcase, and below we will highlight a few who stood out.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='254251' first='Kinsley' last='Hooper'] / Freshman / New Age Volleyball Club</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>What a great day freshman [player_tooltip player_id='254251' first='Kinsley' last='Hooper'] had! Kinsley almost immediately moved up courts to start the day off. The aggressive defender definitely showed her stuff today and caught our attention. She is relentless defensively and is fun to watch. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='178568' first='Layne' last='Bulow'] / Sophomore / [program_tooltip program_id='431166' first='Houston' last='Juniors']</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='178568' first='Layne' last='Bulow'] has been on our radar for some time but this was the first time I have seen her in person. She is very long, and her length allows her to play so many balls that would be out of reach for most players. She looked very confident on the court, and her serve receive stood out to me the most. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='233600' first='Clara' last='Belcher'] / Junior / Katy United</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='233600' first='Clara' last='Belcher'] got my attention from the very beginning for her steady serve receiving. Her communication and movement in serve receive was awesome and she knew her angles and responsibilities. Not only that, but she passed dimes to the setters that made our drills and competition flow seamlessly. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='254313' first='Willow' last='Miller'] / Junior / Katy United</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Camp favorite [player_tooltip player_id='254313' first='Willow' last='Miller'] was a new name to impress us today. She jumped into drills quickly and always had a positive attitude on the court. Not only did she have all the necessary intangibles, but she was also a great athlete and libero. Her court coaches talked highly of her and her abilities. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='254253' first='Kira' last='Nishimura'] / Freshman / TAV Houston</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kira was listed as a top performer today and for good reason. She went on a deep serving run during our competitive 6v6 sessions and was relentless on not letting the ball hit the floor.
