The senior libero had a high-level performance for Cy Ranch, efficiently leading her team’s backcourt efforts. Hooper handled her defensive duties with very few errors and was always calm and consistent with her actions. The libero was excellent when playing defense, displaying outstanding ball control to perform incredible digs in hard-driven swings and great quickness to get to tips. Hooper also kept her serve-receive deliveries accurate and consistent all-match long and showed tremendous quality and confidence to handset from the backcourt.

Cy Ranch’s dynamic libero was very active on the backcourt, getting several touches. Weirdly, she was a target for many of Bridgeland’s servers, but handled the vast majority of them well, keeping her team in system for most of the time. Hooper was also very efficient on defense, getting several digs and generating transition plays for the Mustangs. She was huge for her team in the game-winning point, making a beautiful out-of-system set for Porter to score.

Hooper was a key cog for Cy Ranch in the match, giving them a lot of energy on the backcourt. The libero covered a lot of ground in serve-receive and was efficient for most of the time, delivering good passes to her setter. Hooper was also extremely active on defense, making some incredible stops and playing with great hustle to recover balls during rallies and keep her team in the match. She also displayed great mental strength as she had a tough moment during the fourth set, but immediately shook it off and returned to her best form.

Hooper was a defensive force for MoCo Mavs 16 Red and played a big role in the team’s seventh-place campaign, which featured two wins and three losses. She made some impressive digs on the backcourt, combining outstanding positioning and excellent ball control. Hooper was electric and very productive while playing defense and was truly a difference-maker to her team with her ability to make stops. Her passing was also very effective and she was able to maintain great consistency during the day.

The electric Hooper will be playing defense this week for MoCo Mavs 16 Red in the 16 Open division. She’s been at most of our most recent Showcases in Houston and has made a strong impression in each of them, displaying solid technical skills and great determination on the court. Hooper is very quick and explosive with her movement and she goes to the ball with everything she has, leaving the impression nothing is out of reach for her. The libero is also very technical and consistent in how she makes contact with the ball, delivering precise passes and digs more often than not.

A defensive dynamo, Hooper is among the fastest-rising liberos in the Houston area. She got significant playing time with her strong Cypress Ranch team during the last high school season and was extremely active, contributing to the team’s success. Hooper is very determined and aggressive with her defensive moves, exploding for the ball in a very impactful way. She also reads the game very well and has excellent ball control, making very difficult digs. Capable of defending both the middle and left positions, Hooper is also a strong sever, who can get some runs going from the service line.
